Students & Shopping

Ladies and gentlemen, and also gentle men (lelaki lembut ke?).

Tonight I’m gonna tell you the thing students love the most: SHOPPING!

Just so we clear, lemme tell you how the students spent their hard-earn money from their loan every sem. You know, since most top universities in Malaysia are located in the big city, spending time in shopping malls is like a compulsory extra credit curricular for them. Hell yeah, we are all shopaholic.

Let’s start with Mahasiswi!

They love to buy: Clothes, shoes, perfumes, clothes, shoes, handbags, tudung, clothes again, oh, shoes again, and clothes, make-ups, clothes. Most things are bought after love at the first sight. No second thought. No beforehand planning.

Occasional buying: New gadgets. Presents for balak. Birthday surprises for friends and balak

Other craps they spend their money on: Broadband bills, cinema tickets (when they were with friends).

Mahasiswa:

We love to buy: Food, gadget. Wait, a WIDE range of gadgets. Expensive camera for pro-photographer wannabes, new iPod, new N series, new 500GB external harddrive we were craving for ever since we had finally finish spending every single red cent of our studies loan the previous sem.

Food, food. Clothes. Games CD.

Occasional buying: New car accessories. Presents for aweks.

Other crap we spend our money on: Cinema tickets, times 2 when we watch cinema with our aweks. And other entertainment stuffs we bought to fulfill our childish desire on occasion – it can be Jutaria, Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards, Gila-gila etc etc

MORE RARE MONEY SPENDING:

- Printing some fliers for political purpose, buying some white clothes for jenazah props, some red paint for blood-imitation during protest, RM10 to top-up credit to call friends from KUIS, UM, UKM, etc to join in the excitement, additional RM5 for calling reporters for free publicity-

MORE MORE RARE:

- Paying for some hotel fee for Valentine’s Day one night stand-
Burp. I kept sendawa while writing this. Maybe too kenyang makan benda halal rather than spending my money on some other craps.

Thanks JPA, I promise I’ll be good and I’ll make it up to you one day. Just wanna say I'd spent the money given to me responsibly.

Check-out. (Leaving this one night stand)
